As part of the WEALTH COLLECT Holding (WCH), which focuses on sustainable future markets such as the sharing economy and innovative mobility solutions, myabo is continuously expanding its e-mobility portfolio. Now available on Sylt: since the end of June, the Dutch-designed electric bikes by Brekr have joined the myabo fleet and are available for rent through the myabo platform. The first bikes arrived at the myabo store in Westerland on June 25. With the launch of these new hybrid models, the mobility provider adds a stylish, low-maintenance and eco-friendly option to its range of premium e-bikes.

The Brekr bikes are in a league of their own. While officially classified as e-bikes, their construction, component quality and riding experience are clearly inspired by motorbikes. Their award-winning design, most recently honored with the Red Dot Design Award 2024, stands out immediately. The comfortable ride is powered by a quiet hub motor and Gates carbon belt drive – a system that has already proven successful in myabo’s myco bikes.

“We’re excited to welcome Brekr as a strong partner alongside XBoard and Ahooga,” says Dr. Stefan Wöste, Managing Director at myabo. “We’re always looking for innovative mobility solutions that deliver not just function but also emotional value. Brekr bikes combine aesthetics, technology and riding fun, making them a perfect fit for our premium locations like Sylt and Düsseldorf.”

Currently, the Brekr bikes are available exclusively on Sylt. In Düsseldorf, a display model can be seen at the myabo store. The bike made its first public appearance at Eurobike 2025 in Frankfurt.

These stylish e-bikes are ideal for relaxed scenic cruising or urban exploration – even for two people. The low-maintenance drive system not only enhances the ride but also reduces operational workload for the service team.

The new partnership with Brekr is part of the ongoing expansion of the myabo fleet. Additional collaborations with innovative manufacturers are already in development.

“We want to make mobility something people can experience – sustainable, easy and enjoyable,” Wöste adds. “Our customers should feel free, without worrying about technology or maintenance. That’s exactly what myabo stands for.”
