Zeitz, Saxony-Anhalt, 22.03.2023

Starting in 2024, the campus will also take on training for the catering, hotel and care sectors in a further expansion stage. The campus aims to qualify personnel effectively and in line with demand and to improve the availability of qualified workers for companies.

Jürgen Kasel, AW Campus project manager, said:

"We are very pleased to be able to establish a new campus for education and training in Zeitz. We are sure that this will help to strengthen the availability and qualification of workers as well as the economy in the region."

Włodzimierz Jasniak, manager of the AW Campus, added: “The AW Campus will promote the education and product training of employees for our own industrial service as well as Gecko Service and for partner companies. We expect the campus will help drive economic development in the region.”

The AW Campus is currently still looking for a site of at least 800 square meters where parking, outdoor space, a hall with workshops, training room and offices can be used for the campus. The training is to be carried out by the company’s own employees as well as by instructors from specialized institutes. Upon completion of the training, participants will receive appropriate certificates. The company plans to transfer some of the trained workers to a service company, Industrieservice Europa GmbH. Thus, it is planned that in the first stage of expansion 50-70 employees will find their jobs in Zeitz.
